The MMP is furnished as a lightweight, small footprint Kit, packaged for ease of transport and configured to meet all Army Aviation Load Plans. The MMP-1 is readily unpacked for rapid on-site assembly of work platforms that can be arranged as necessary to provide the Maintenance access needed for the particular job involved.

The typical MMP Kit consists of prefabricated components and attachments which can be rapidly assembled on-site for the job without need for tools. Repacking for return to Base or storage is equally as easy.

The MMP-K1 Kit provides enough parts for two lightweight 2’ x 8’ platform sections which can be used separately or combined to form a 4’ x 8’ unit with platform working heights of 12” to 96”. These sections and components can be easily modified or adjusted to the wide variety of maintenance tasks encountered in both Garrison and Field environments and the platform light weight enables easy lift or movement to point of use for each specific task.

The MMP-K2 Kit provides a 37 inch lateral extension 8 feet long with an increased elevation from 84 inches to 114 inches. This balcony feature allows for access over interfering structures such as fuselage, fins, fuel cells and so on. The MMP-K2 kit consists of extension balconies and base stabilizers only and requires the MMP-K1 kit to form a complete maintenance platform.

The MMP-K3 Kit provides a additional 56 inch horizontal extension, and like the K1 Kit allows the K2 Balcony Kit to attached.

Optional platform lengths of 4' and 6' are available.
