The SLV-1 is a lightweight, plastic mesh cylinder sleeve designed to slide over existing 4500 psig high pressure backpack cylinders currently in use by many military and commercial maintenance providers.

The cylinder sleeve is designed to aid in basic protection for high pressure backpack cylinders. It will help provide protection from surface scratches and scuffing and other minor blemishes caused from day to day use. At the bottom of the sleeve is a thin rubber padded bottom and a two inch tall rubber circumference pad. Although this sleeve aids in basic protection it does not provide protection from abuse, carelessness or mishandling. High pressure cylinders must never be dropped, dragged, struck against each other or other objects. High pressure backpack cylinders must be handled with extreme care at all times and stored in proper containers such as the RTC-1, RTC-2 or in cylinder storage frames.
